• В класному зошиті письмово виконати  впр 2b с 160 (скласти речення за схемою)
• Повторити правила утворення та вживання підрядних речень умови I типу та записати письмово в зошиті переклад наступних речень:

• Записати нову лексику в словник та вивчити: the ozone layer-озоновий шар, acid rain-кислотний дощ, global warming-глобальне потепління, greenhouse effect-парниковий ефект, exhaust fumes-вихлопні гази, threat-загроза, species-різновиди/види, fossil fuels-горючі корисні копалини, conservation-охорона природи, donate-дарувати/давати, raise awareness-підняти рівень усвідомлення, take action-приймати міри, pollute-забруднювати, environmental issues-проблеми довкілля, run out of time-брак часу/не вистачає часу, give a talk-виступати, bring attention to-привертати увагу (до чогось)
• Прочитати уважно твердження і добрати до них логічне продовження (в класний зошит записати лише відповіді)

a) They want to be sure they aren't eating chemicals
b) The average temperature of the earth's surface and its oceans has increased by almost 1 degree C in the last century.
c) If we don't protect them, they will become extinct.
d) Most of our electricity is still produced in them.
e) This is power that comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, the waves...
f) It's important that this environment isn't destroyed.
g) We get it from the sun and it is very easy to use.
h) Oil, coal and gas take millions of years to form under the earth's surface and we're burning them very quickly.

• В класному зошиті письмово дай відповіді на наступні запитання:

1. Are zoos a good or bad idea?
2. Why is it important to protect endangered species?
3. If you can adopt an endangered animal, which animal will you choose?
4. Do schools in your town do enough to promote helping the environment?
5. If we don't protect the environment, what do you think will happen in the world?

(Коли висловлюєш свою думку, не забувай використовувати фрази: I think/I don't think......
 To my mind......, I'm pretty sure that........., I agree/disagree that........, First of all........./Secondly......, I hope.........)
